DC Power Connector Plug Tip for Dell Laptop Notebook Computers.
This connector tip has a built-in micro chip. Using this connector tip with a correct power adapter can provide enough power to run a Dell laptop computer and charge its internal battery at the same time. You should not get the typical error message when you are using it with a non-Dell power adapter as long as the power adapter voltage is correct and has enough power.

2. The power adapter you are using with this connector tip should have the right
voltage and power that meet your computer's requirements. Most Dell laptops listed
above need 19V~21V DC input.
Special
Note:
Some Dell laptop BIOS have a special setting. If it detects a non Dell
AC power adapter, it will give a warning message or refuse to work even if the power
adapter or external battery should work perfectly with it. You can ignore the
message or just disable the warning setting in the BIOS.
