IEC 62133 Certified Rechargeable Battery
The BP220 battery used in this power system is
IEC 62133 certified. IEC 62133 is an internationally
recognized safety standard for rechargeable battery cells and batteries
used in portable applications.
The BiXPower BP220-DM90-S10 is a high-capacity portable
battery system designed to power compatible
ResMed AirSense 10, AirStart 10, and AirCurve 10
CPAP and BiLevel machines when regular AC power is unavailable.
The system combines a 223Wh BP220 rechargeable lithium-ion battery
with a dedicated 24V DC power converter. The converter
takes power from the battery's 15V output and provides the 24V DC power
required by compatible ResMed AirSense 10-series machines.
It is a convenient solution for camping, RV travel, emergency
backup, power outages, and other off-grid applications.
223Wh High-Capacity CPAP Battery
The BP220 provides 223 watt-hours of stored energy,
giving compatible ResMed CPAP users substantially more runtime than
smaller portable battery packs.
With the humidifier and heated tubing turned off, the BP220 may provide
approximately 3–4 nights of CPAP use under suitable operating
conditions.
Actual Runtime Will Vary
CPAP power consumption changes according to therapy pressure, breathing
pattern, mask leakage, humidifier use, heated tubing, environmental
conditions, battery age, and other factors. Using the humidifier or
heated tubing can significantly reduce battery runtime.
For longer battery runtime, turn off the humidifier and heated tubing
when those features are not needed. Always use your prescribed therapy
settings.

Charge From AC Power or a Vehicle
The package includes both an AC charger and a
12V car charger, giving you two convenient ways
to recharge the BP220.

How to Power Your ResMed AirSense 10
Step 1 — Charge the Battery
Fully charge the BP220 before using it for extended CPAP operation.
Use the included AC charger or 12V car charger.
Step 2 — Set the Battery Output to 19V
For use with the included ResMed 24V converter,
set the BP220 output selector to 19V.
Step 3 — Connect the 24V Power Converter
Connect the battery power output cable between the BP220
OUT port and the input of the included 24V converter.
The converter changes the battery's 15V output to the
24V DC power required by compatible ResMed AirSense 10-series machines.
Step 4 — Connect to the CPAP Machine
Connect the converter output plug to the DC power input on your
compatible ResMed machine. Turn on the BP220 battery, then operate
the CPAP machine normally.

Built-In 5V USB Output
The BP220 also includes a 5V / up to 2.1A USB port
for charging or powering compatible phones and other small USB devices.
USB charging cable is not included.
Use the BP220 With Other Compatible Devices
The BP220 is not limited to CPAP use. Its selectable 15V / 19V
main output can also power compatible laptops and other DC devices.
Optional interchangeable connector tips are available for equipment
that uses different DC input connector sizes.
Optional connector tips are not included unless selected when ordering.
Air Travel Notice
The BP220 has a capacity of 223Wh.
Because its capacity exceeds the usual passenger-airline limits for
spare lithium-ion batteries, customers should not plan to carry this
223Wh battery aboard a passenger aircraft. Always verify current
airline and transportation requirements before traveling.
One-Year Limited Warranty
The BP220 battery system includes a one-year limited warranty
covering manufacturing and quality defects.
Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity as they age and accumulate
charge/discharge cycles. Gradual capacity reduction from normal use and
aging is normal battery wear and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
