Unlike a CPAP-only battery, the VP250 is a versatile portable power bank with a dedicated 24V DC output, two USB Type-C ports, and one USB-A port. In addition to powering a compatible ResMed CPAP machine, it can provide portable power for many laptops, tablets, smartphones and other compatible USB-powered devices.

Built-In Battery Protection

The VP250 incorporates an internal protection circuit with multiple protection functions, including:

Charge with the Included AC Charger

For normal charging, connect the included AC charger to the dedicated DC IN charging port. Typical charging time is approximately 4–6 hours.

Optional USB-C Charging

The VP250 can also be charged through its USB-C1 input/output port using a compatible USB-C PD charger. A USB-C charger is optional and is not included in the standard package.

When USB-C1 charging voltage is 15V or higher, the dedicated DC input charging port is designed to stop charging automatically. For safe operation, use only compatible/authorized charging equipment and follow the charging instructions supplied with the battery.

Optional Vehicle Charging

The VP250 can also be recharged from a compatible vehicle power socket using the appropriate BiXPower car charging adapter. The vehicle charger is optional and is not included in the standard package.

AirSense 10 Battery Runtime

CPAP power consumption varies considerably with pressure setting, breathing rate, mask seal, humidification, heated tubing, exhalation pressure relief and operating conditions. Because of these variables, there is no single guaranteed runtime for every AirSense 10 user.

As examples, if a CPAP system averages approximately 10W, a fully charged VP250 may provide around 20 hours of operation. If average consumption is approximately 20W, runtime may be around 10 hours. These are approximate examples rather than guaranteed runtimes.

Under favorable settings with the humidifier, heated tubing and other high-power features disabled, the VP250 may provide approximately 2–3 nights of CPAP use. For longer battery runtime, reduce optional power-consuming features when appropriate. Any change to prescribed therapy pressure should only be made under the direction of your healthcare provider.

Battery Care & Storage

For best battery life, avoid storing the VP250 completely discharged. If the battery will not be used for an extended period, keep it partially charged and recharge it periodically. BiXPower recommends checking and recharging the battery at least once every three months during long-term storage.

Allow the battery to return to normal ambient temperature before charging. Use only the supplied or compatible authorized charger, and charge the battery in an appropriate area away from flammable materials.

Important Air Travel Notice

The VP250 has a capacity of 211Wh. This capacity exceeds the limit normally permitted for passenger-carried spare lithium-ion batteries under standard airline passenger rules. Do not assume this battery can be carried aboard a passenger aircraft. Check current airline and applicable transportation requirements before traveling.

One-Year Limited Warranty

The VP250-AS10 includes a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing and quality defects. Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries naturally lose some capacity with use and age; normal capacity reduction over time is not considered a manufacturing defect.
