Convert 24V Battery Power to Standard 110V AC Power
The DA241000-PS converts 20V–30V DC input power from a suitable
24V battery system into 110V AC, 60Hz pure sine wave power.
This allows many devices normally powered from a household AC outlet to operate
from a compatible 24V battery system.
The wide DC input range makes the inverter suitable for many
24V nominal battery systems, including appropriate lead-acid
and rechargeable lithium battery configurations.
Compact and Portable Design
Despite its 1000W rated output, the inverter has a compact housing measuring
approximately 11 × 5.2 × 3.3 inches and weighs approximately
4.4 lb. The integrated carrying handle makes it easier to transport
between locations or use as part of a portable battery-powered AC system.
Clean Pure Sine Wave AC Output
Unlike modified sine wave inverters, the DA241000-PS produces a
pure sine wave AC output. Pure sine wave power more closely
resembles the AC waveform supplied by utility power and is generally preferred
for sensitive electronics, equipment with electronic controls, audio/video
equipment, chargers, motors, and other devices that may not operate properly
from modified sine wave power.
Pure sine wave output can also help reduce electrical noise and interference
compared with modified sine wave power, making it a better choice for many
sensitive electronic applications.
Smart Temperature-Controlled Cooling
The inverter uses a temperature-controlled cooling fan.
The fan automatically operates when additional cooling is required and turns
off after the inverter temperature decreases. This helps provide effective
cooling without requiring the fan to run continuously.
Ideal for 24V Battery-Powered AC Applications
When connected to a properly sized 24V battery system, this inverter provides
a convenient source of 110V AC power for many applications where conventional
utility power is unavailable or inconvenient.
Typical applications may include portable electronics, chargers, computers,
communications equipment, audio/video equipment, mobile workstations,
field equipment, emergency power systems, and other compatible AC-powered devices.
Important: Always verify the voltage, continuous power requirement,
and startup/surge power requirement of your equipment before connecting it to
the inverter. Some motors, compressors, pumps, refrigerators, and other
inductive loads can require substantially more power during startup than their
normal running wattage.

Built-In Protection
The inverter incorporates multiple protection functions designed to help
protect the inverter and connected power system, including:
- Low-input-voltage protection
- Over-voltage protection
- Overload protection
- Short-circuit protection
- Input reverse-polarity protection
- Over-temperature protection
Important Battery Power Requirements
The inverter does not generate energy. It converts DC energy
supplied by the connected battery into AC power. Therefore, the actual AC power
available depends on both the inverter and the output capability of the battery
and its connections.
Because conversion is not 100% efficient, producing 1000W of AC output
requires significantly more than 1000W from the battery. Based on approximately
85% inverter efficiency, the battery may need to supply roughly
1,200W of DC power at full output.
At 24V, this represents a high DC current. The battery, battery management system
(BMS), wiring, connectors, terminals, and protection devices must therefore be
properly rated for the required current.
High-Surge Loads: Equipment containing compressors, pumps, motors,
or other inductive loads may require several times its normal operating wattage
during startup. Select an inverter and battery system based on both the
continuous operating power and startup/surge requirement of the equipment.
