The BiXPower BX3699 Type-A is a high-capacity
36V 14Ah / 504Wh rechargeable battery system designed
for professional and custom DC power applications that require substantial
energy capacity and high output current.
This version includes a flat power-output connection box
that attaches directly to the battery's output socket and provides a
convenient wire output. The standard configuration has
two bare output wires. Optional
Anderson Powerpole connectors are also available.
The package also includes a compatible AC battery charger
that can operate from a 100–240V AC power source.
Flat Power-Output Connection Box
The included flat connection box slides onto the battery's
power output socket and provides a convenient wired
connection for integrating the battery into compatible DC equipment,
custom power systems and other professional applications.
Standard Bare-Wire Output
The standard Type-A configuration provides
two bare DC output wires. This arrangement is useful
for professional installations and custom equipment where the battery
needs to be connected directly to a terminal block, connector, controller,
converter or other compatible DC input.
Important: Observe Correct Polarity
The red wire is positive (+) and the
black wire is negative (−). Always verify your device's
voltage, polarity and current requirements before making a connection.
Reversing polarity may damage the battery, connected equipment or both.
Optional Anderson Powerpole Output
If you prefer a removable connector instead of bare wires, the battery
can be ordered with Anderson Powerpole connectors.
Select the Anderson connector option when ordering and the output leads
will be supplied with the connectors installed.

energy while weighing only approximately 5.5 lb (2.45 kg).

Compact Size with Built-In Carrying Handle
Despite its 504Wh capacity, the BX3699 remains compact enough for many
portable and equipment-mounted applications. The integrated carrying
handle makes it easier to transport and folds down when not in use.
Battery Controls & Connections
The battery incorporates the main controls and electrical connections
directly into its housing:
- 4-Level LED Indicator — shows approximate remaining battery capacity.
- Charging Input Port — connects to the included AC charger.
- Power On/Off Switch — controls battery output.
- Battery Output Socket — accepts the included flat output connection box.
- 15A Fuse — provides additional output-circuit protection.
- Built-In Handle — makes the battery easier to carry.
Important: 36V Is the Nominal Battery Voltage
The BX3699 is called a 36V battery because 36V is its
nominal voltage. It does not provide a constant,
regulated 36.0V output.
When fully charged, battery voltage is approximately
42V. As energy is used, the voltage gradually decreases
toward approximately 30V.
Check Your Equipment Before Connecting
Your equipment must be able to accept the battery's actual voltage range,
approximately 30V–42.55V DC. If your equipment requires
a fixed regulated voltage, use an appropriate DC-to-DC converter between
the battery and the equipment.
4-Level Battery Power Indicator
The built-in LED indicator provides a convenient way to check the
battery's approximate remaining power level.
AC Charger Included
A compatible AC charger is included. The charger can operate from a
100–240V AC power source, making it suitable for use
with common AC mains power in many locations.
Long-Term Storage
Recharge the battery periodically during extended storage. Store it in
a cool, dry location and avoid leaving the battery in a fully discharged
condition for an extended period.
Built-In Battery Protection
The BX3699 uses a firm, water-resistant ABS enclosure and incorporates
built-in battery protection circuitry. The internal battery pack is also
supported to help reduce movement caused by normal vibration.

Rechargeable batteries are consumable products. The amount of energy a
battery can store gradually decreases through normal use and aging.
