The BiXPower BX2499B is a compact, high-capacity 24V-class lithium-ion battery designed for equipment that requires substantial portable DC power. With approximately 320Wh of energy, a compact enclosure, built-in carrying handle, and removable output connection system, it provides an excellent combination of capacity, portability, and installation flexibility.

High Capacity in a Compact, Portable Battery

The BX2499B stores approximately 320 watt-hours of energy in a battery measuring only about 6.8" × 4.3" × 3". Its compact footprint makes it easier to integrate into applications where available space is limited.

Weighing approximately 4.1 lb (1.86 kg), the battery is much easier to carry than many traditional batteries with comparable energy storage. The integrated handle allows the battery to be picked up and transported conveniently.

Built-In Handle for Easy Carrying

Unlike many battery packs that require a separate carrying case, the BX2499B has an integrated folding handle. This makes it convenient to remove the battery from equipment, carry it indoors for charging, or transport it between different applications.

Powerful 24V-Class DC Output

The BX2499B uses a 7-series lithium-ion configuration with a nominal voltage of 25.2V. Battery voltage naturally changes as the battery is charged and discharged.

The battery is designed for compatible 24V equipment requiring up to approximately 300W of power. Always verify the voltage, power requirement, connector, and polarity of your equipment before connecting the battery.

Battery Output Voltage

Lithium-ion battery voltage is not constant. The output voltage is highest when the battery is fully charged and gradually decreases as energy is used. The graph below illustrates a typical discharge-voltage curve.

Lockable Bike Mount Output Connection Box

The BX2499B can be used with the KF542-style output connection and mounting box. The battery slides onto the connection box, providing both electrical connection and a convenient removable mounting system.

The output cable provides red positive (+) and black negative (−) wires for connection to compatible equipment.

The mounting clip can be attached to a suitable bicycle frame tube or other compatible structure. This gives users flexibility when installing the battery on custom equipment.

Key-Lock Mounting System

The mounting/output box includes a key-lock mechanism. When locked, the output box is secured to the battery. When unlocked, the connection box can slide on or off the battery contact socket.

Flexible Installation Options

The compact battery and mounting system provide flexibility for different frame layouts. Depending on available space and mounting points, the battery may be positioned in different orientations on compatible equipment.

Convenient Battery Level Indicator

A built-in battery level indicator allows you to quickly check the approximate remaining charge before using the battery.

Built-In Battery Protection

The BX2499B incorporates an internal battery protection circuit designed to help protect the battery during normal operation.
