IEC 62133-2 Certified Rechargeable Battery
The BP90-16V battery is IEC 62133-2 certified.
IEC 62133-2 is an internationally recognized safety standard for
portable rechargeable lithium battery cells and batteries.
The BiXPower BP90-16V is a compact, high-capacity
rechargeable lithium-ion battery designed to power a wide range of
portable electronic equipment.
With 99.6Wh capacity, the battery provides
three useful power outputs: a regulated 16V DC output,
an additional 9V–12.6V direct battery output, and a
5V USB output.
Its slim design and multiple output options make it useful for compatible
laptops, portable electronics, monitors, communication equipment,
instruments, and other DC-powered devices.
Three Power Outputs in One Battery
The BP90-16V provides three different output options, allowing one
battery to power a variety of compatible devices.
Output I — 5V USB
The built-in USB port provides 5V DC output up to 2.1A
for compatible phones and other USB-powered devices.
Output II — 9V to 12.6V Direct Battery Output
Output II is connected directly to the battery cells and is
not voltage regulated.
Its nominal voltage is approximately 10.8V. When the
battery is fully charged, the output may be approximately
12.6V. The voltage gradually decreases as the battery
discharges and shuts off at approximately 9V.
Maximum output current is 5A. The connector size is
3.5 × 1.35mm.
Output III — Regulated 16V DC
The main DC output provides a stable
16V regulated output for compatible electronic equipment.
Maximum output current is 4A, and the built-in output
connector is 5.5 × 2.5mm.
96Wh High-Capacity Portable Power
The BP90-16V stores 99.6 watt-hours of energy in a
compact battery weighing approximately 1.4 lb (621g).
When used as an external battery for a compatible laptop or other
electronic device, it can significantly extend operating time.
Actual runtime depends on the device's power consumption, workload,
battery condition, conversion efficiency, temperature, and other
operating conditions.

Actual usable runtime will normally be lower because of conversion
losses and changing device power consumption.
IEC 62133-2 Certified for Rechargeable Lithium Battery Safety
The BP90-16V battery is IEC 62133-2 certified.
IEC 62133-2 specifies safety requirements and testing for portable
sealed secondary lithium cells and batteries used in portable applications.
This certification provides customers with documented compliance with
an internationally recognized rechargeable lithium battery safety standard.

Built-In Battery Protection
In addition to IEC 62133-2 certification, the BP90-16V includes
built-in electronic protection circuitry designed for reliable
charging and operation.

Wide 12V–24V DC Charging Input
The BP90-16V accepts a wide 12V–24V DC charging input
through its 5.5 × 2.1mm charging port.
An AC charger is included with the standard package. Under normal
conditions, charging takes approximately 4–6 hours.
A compatible DC power source may also be used when its voltage,
connector size, polarity, and power rating meet the battery's
charging requirements.

Optional Connector Tips
The regulated 16V output cable has a
5.5 × 2.5mm connector. If this connector does not
fit your device, optional BiXPower C-Series connector tips can be
attached to convert the cable to other commonly used connector sizes.
Optional connector tips are not included with the standard package unless selected when ordering.
Connect Two Batteries for Longer Runtime
For applications requiring longer uninterrupted operating time,
two compatible BP90 batteries can be connected in parallel through
Output III using an optional
BiXPower Y25 Split Connector.
Important When Connecting Multiple Batteries

Use only Output III for the parallel battery connection.

Make sure all connected batteries provide the
same output voltage.

Fully charge each battery separately before connecting them together.

Each individual battery should be capable of powering the connected
device by itself.

There is no active balancing between batteries. One battery may
discharge faster than another.

The Y25 Split Connector is optional and is not included with the
standard BP90-16V package.
Multiple compatible batteries may also be connected using additional
Y25 Split Connectors when even longer runtime is required. All batteries
must use the same output voltage and should be fully charged separately
before they are connected together.

airline and transportation requirements can change and individual
airlines may have additional restrictions, always confirm current
rules with your airline before traveling with the battery.

One-Year Limited Warranty
The BP90-16V includes a one-year limited warranty
covering manufacturing and quality defects.
Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity as they age and
accumulate charge/discharge cycles. Gradual capacity reduction from
normal use and aging is considered normal battery wear.
Battery Safety
Use the supplied charger or a compatible charger with the correct
voltage, connector, and polarity. Keep the battery away from excessive
heat, moisture, fire, and conductive objects. Do not short-circuit,
puncture, crush, disassemble, or modify the battery. Do not use the
battery if it is damaged, swollen, leaking, or operating abnormally.
