The BiXPower BX3699H is a high-capacity
36V 14Ah / 504Wh rechargeable battery system designed
for professional and custom DC power applications that require a
removable, mountable battery.
Unlike a basic battery pack, this system includes the
KF562 keyed holder and power-output box. The holder can
be mounted to compatible equipment or a frame, allowing the battery to
slide on and off when needed. A built-in key lock helps
secure the battery to the holder during use.
The system also includes a compatible AC battery charger
that can charge the battery from a 100–240V AC power source.

Battery Controls & Connections
The BX3699 battery combines its main controls, charging connection,
output contacts and power-level indicator into a compact enclosure.

504Wh Capacity in a Compact, Portable Battery
The BX3699 provides approximately 504 watt-hours of
energy while weighing only about 5.5 lb (2.45 kg).
Its compact enclosure measures approximately
245 × 110 × 75 mm (9.8 × 4.4 × 3 inches).
The integrated folding handle makes the battery easy to carry and allows
it to remain compact when the handle is not being used.
Important: 36V Is the Nominal Voltage
The BX3699 is referred to as a 36V battery, but its
output is not regulated to a constant 36.0V.
When fully charged, the battery voltage is approximately
42V. The voltage gradually decreases as the battery
discharges, with a final cut-off voltage of approximately
30V.
Check Equipment Voltage Compatibility
Your equipment must be able to accept the battery's actual output-voltage
range of approximately 30V–42.55V DC. If your equipment
requires a fixed regulated voltage, an appropriate DC-to-DC converter
should be used between the battery and the equipment.
High-Power DC Output
The battery supports up to 15A continuous discharge current
and up to 18A burst discharge current for up to
approximately 10 minutes.
Because battery voltage changes during discharge, available wattage also
varies with battery voltage. Always design the connected system around
the battery's voltage and current limits rather than relying only on a
single wattage figure.
KF562 Key-Locking Holder & Power-Output Box
A major feature of the BX3699H system is the included
KF562 holder and output box. It provides both a mounting
system for the battery and an electrical output connection.
Once the holder is mounted to compatible equipment or a frame, the
battery can slide onto or off the holder. The key lock
secures the battery in position during use and makes battery removal
convenient when the battery needs to be charged, transported or stored.

Flexible Mounting
The KF562 holder incorporates an adjustable mounting clamp that can be
used for compatible frame-mounted applications. The holder is designed
to support different installation orientations, depending on the
equipment and available mounting space.
4-Level Battery Power Indicator
The built-in LED indicator provides a convenient visual indication of
the battery's approximate remaining charge level.
The indicator makes it easier to check battery status before use,
during operation and before recharging.
AC Charger Included
A compatible AC charger is included with the battery system. The charger
accepts a 100–240V AC power source, allowing the battery
to be charged from common AC mains power.
The battery can be removed from the holder for convenient charging.
Depending on the installation, it may also be possible to recharge it
while it remains mounted.
Long-Term Storage
Recharge the battery periodically during extended storage. Store it in
a cool, dry location and avoid leaving the battery in a fully discharged
condition for extended periods.
Optional Anderson Powerpole Output Connectors
The standard KF562 output connection uses
two bare wires. For customers who prefer a convenient
removable DC connection, optional Anderson Powerpole
connectors are available.
Select the Anderson connector option when ordering and the connectors
will be installed on the output wires.
Important — Observe Correct Polarity
When using bare output wires, verify positive and negative polarity
before connecting equipment. Incorrect polarity can damage the battery,
connected equipment or both.
Built-In Battery Protection
The battery uses a firm, water-resistant ABS enclosure and incorporates
built-in protection circuitry. The internal battery pack is supported
to help reduce movement caused by normal vibration.
