36V /48V DC to 24V DC to DC Power Converter

This DC to DC power adapter can convert 36V /48V battery output voltage to 24V DC power. Maximum output 6A (144W). Its input voltage range is between 32V to 55V. Its output voltage is 24V, maximum output current is 6A (144W)

This DC converter start up voltage is 32V. Its cut off voltage is 29V. This means the converter will start to work when input voltage is 32V or higher. After it starts working, it will keep working until input voltage drop to 29V.

A typical 36V lithium ion battery ( 10 cells in serial) output voltage range is 30V to 42V. A typical 48V lithium ion battery ( 13 cells in serial) output voltage range is 39V to 54.6V. So this converter works for both 36V and 48V lithium ion batteries.

This DC to DC power adapter's input side has two 16AWG cable with 5.5 x 2.5mm female connector:

You may also cut off the input connector to use two bare wires as input connection:

The output is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector with 16AWG wires. It is very easy and flexible to connect with batteries and other power source.

Features:
Wide input range: 30V ~ 55V
Start up voltage: 32V
Input Connector: 5.5 x 2.5mm Female
Input Wires: 16AWG, Length: 300mm
Acceptable Input Polarity: Inside Positive
Output Voltage: 24V, Maximum 6A ( 144W)
Output Connector: 5.5 x 2.5mm Male
Output Wires: 16AWG, length: 900mm
High efficiency ( > 90%)
Small size: 2.98” x 2.98” x 1.3” (74 x 74 x 32.5 mm)
Light weight: 10.2 oz (289g )

Input: The red color is for Positive input and the black color is for Negative/Ground input. It is CRITICAL that the power adapter is connected correctly in polarity to the power source: Positive on adapter connects to Positive on power source. Negative on adapter connects to Negative on power source. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SEVERE DAMAGES.

Safety Protections:

Compare to similar DC converters on market, BiXPower has added many extra safety protection functions on this converter, such as

1. Output over current protection
2. Output over voltage protection
3. Output over load protection, Auto-recovery when device is back to normal operating,
4. Over-temperature.(V) --- Chip IC has the over heating protection function.
5. Output Short Circuit protection

Optional connector tips:

The connector on the power adapter output cable is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector, which will work with many devices. If you need different size connectors, you may order our C series optional connector tips separately. A C series connector can plug on the battery output cable to form a new connector.

Technical Specifications:

Acceptable Input DC Voltage Range : 30V ~ 55V
Start up voltage: 32V
Output power(max) 144W
Output voltage: 24V
Output current: Max. 6A*
Efficiency: > 90%
Input wires: 16AWG, length: 300mm
