192Wh Total Capacity for Longer Runtime
Each BP100 battery stores
96 watt-hours (Wh)
of rechargeable energy.
Together, the two batteries
provide a combined nominal capacity
of 192Wh.
When connected using the included
Y25 splitter, the batteries
can provide extended operating
time for compatible equipment.
This is particularly useful for
laptop computers and other devices
that need portable DC power
for extended periods.
Important:
Combining two batteries increases
available energy capacity and
potential runtime.
It does not mean the system
can safely power a device
that exceeds the output
capability of a single BP100.
Estimated Operating Time
Actual runtime depends on
device power consumption,
battery condition,
selected output voltage,
and conversion efficiency.
| Device Power Consumption |
Estimated Runtime* |
| 10W | 15.4 hours |
| 15W | 10.2 hours |
| 20W | 7.7 hours |
| 30W | 5.1 hours |
| 40W | 3.8 hours |
| 50W | 3.1 hours |
| 60W | 2.6 hours |
*Estimates assume approximately
80% usable energy
(153.6Wh from the combined 192Wh).
Actual runtime may vary.
These examples are not guaranteed results.
How the Dual-Battery System Works
The included
BiXPower Y25 splitter
connects the regulated
Port I outputs of both
BP100 batteries into
one common DC output.
Both batteries must be set
to the same output voltage
before connecting them.
The Y25 cable allows both
batteries to contribute
power to the connected device.
The batteries do not have
an active current-balancing
system between them.
One battery may provide
more current than the other
and may discharge earlier.
For this reason,
each individual battery
must be capable of powering
the connected device independently.
Dual-Battery Connection with Output Cable
The standard Z6 output cable
connects to the female output
of the Y25 splitter.
The combined output can then
power compatible laptop computers
or other electronic devices.
Optional Output Cable with On/Off Switch
An optional special output
cable with an integrated
On/Off switch is available.
This cable can be used
instead of the standard
Z6 output cable
in compatible configurations.
Note:
The special On/Off switch cable
is not included in the
standard BP100X2 package.
Important Instructions for Connecting Two Batteries
Before Connecting the Batteries
-
Fully charge both batteries.
-
Set both Port I voltage
selectors to exactly the
same output voltage:
16V, 19V or 24V.
-
Confirm that the connected
device can operate from
one BP100 battery alone.
-
Connect the two regulated
Port I outputs through
the included Y25 splitter.
-
Connect the appropriate
output cable and
compatible device.
-
Do not connect batteries
with different voltage settings.
-
Do not connect the unregulated
Port II outputs or USB outputs
together in parallel.
Only BiXPower battery models
specifically designed for
parallel operation should
be connected using this method.
Do not assume that unrelated
rechargeable batteries can
be safely connected in parallel.
Three Power Output Ports on Each BP100 Battery
Each BP100 battery features
three different power output
ports, allowing it to
power a variety of
compatible devices.
Output Port I – Regulated 16V, 19V or 24V DC
Port I provides selectable
regulated DC output
for compatible laptop
computers and other
electronic equipment.
The output voltage is
selected using the
built-in hardware switch.
| Selected Output Voltage |
Maximum Current per Battery |
| 16V DC | 4A |
| 19V DC | 3.5A |
| 24V DC | 2.5A |
The maximum combined output
of all three ports on
each BP100 battery is 65W.
The BP100X2 parallel
configuration is intended
to extend operating time
rather than support a
higher-power device.
Port I Output Cable
Port I uses a
5.5 x 2.5mm
barrel connector.
The included Z6 cable
can connect directly
to compatible devices
or through an optional
C-series connector tip.
Output Port II – 9V to 12.6V DC
Port II provides
unregulated battery
voltage ranging from
approximately
9V to 12.6V.
Its nominal output
voltage is 11.1V.
When the battery is
fully charged,
the voltage is approximately
12.6V and gradually
decreases during discharge.
Port II is suitable
only for devices that
can accept the full
9–12.6V voltage range.
It is not a constant
regulated 12V output.
An optional compatible
Port II output cable
is available separately.
Output Port III – 5V USB
Each BP100 battery
includes a 5V USB
output rated up
to 2.1A.
The USB port can power
or charge compatible
phones, tablets,
and other USB-powered
electronic devices.
USB charging cables
are not included.
Compact and Portable Battery Design
Each BP100 battery
measures approximately
180 x 110 x 22.5mm
and weighs approximately
621g (1.4 lb).
The two-battery design
offers flexibility:
use the batteries
together for longer
runtime or individually
for separate compatible
applications.
Charging the BP100X2 Battery System
Each BP100 battery
has a built-in
charging controller.
The charging input
accepts compatible
12–24V DC power
through a 5.5 x 2.5mm
charging connector.
The supplied AC charger

50/60Hz input.
Option 1 – Charge Each Battery Separately
Connect the included
AC charger to one
BP100 battery.
After charging is
complete, disconnect
the charger and
charge the second battery.
Option 2 – Charge Two Batteries Together
The included Y25
splitter can also
be used in the
charging configuration
illustrated above.
When charging two
batteries from one
charger, the available
charging power is shared.
Charging both batteries
together may take
longer than charging
one battery.
Charging Reminder:
Use only the supplied
or BiXPower-approved
compatible charger.
Do not connect two
independent chargers
to the same Y25
splitter arrangement.
How to Select the Correct Laptop Voltage
Before connecting
your laptop,
check its required
DC input voltage.
You can normally find
this information on
the laptop's original
AC power adapter
or on the laptop itself.
Set both BP100
batteries to the
same voltage that
matches your device:
16V, 19V or 24V.
Important:
Voltage compatibility
alone is not sufficient.
Also verify power demand,
connector dimensions,
polarity and any
manufacturer-specific
laptop identification
requirements.
Optional C-Series Connector Tips
The included Port I
output cable uses
a 5.5 x 2.5mm
male barrel connector.
Optional BiXPower
C-series connector
tips can adapt this
connector to other
compatible DC power
jack sizes.
Connector tips change
the physical connector
configuration only.
They do not change
the selected output
voltage.
The optional connector
