The BiXPower BAT-UC70B-MS is a compact 74Wh portable battery package designed to provide convenient external power for Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4.

The included special USB-C to 12V power cable provides stable 12V DC power from the battery. The included Microsoft Surface Pro connector then connects the 12V power cable to your compatible Surface Pro computer.

In addition to powering compatible Surface Pro computers, the battery can also be used as a powerful USB-C PD power bank. It features two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, wireless charging, and a digital battery gauge.

The battery supports pass-through operation. You can charge the battery through one USB-C port while using the other USB-C port to provide power to a compatible device.

Built-in wireless charging provides convenient cable-free charging for compatible smartphones and other wireless-charging devices.

The built-in LED display clearly shows the remaining battery capacity.

How to Power Your Surface Pro

The BAT-UC70B-MS package includes both a USB-C to 12V DC power cable and a Microsoft Surface Pro power connector.

Connect the USB-C end of the 12V power cable to the battery. Connect the Surface Pro connector to the DC output end of the 12V cable, then connect the Surface connector to your compatible Surface Pro computer.

Also Works as a USB-C Power Bank

The BAT-UC70B-MS is not limited to Surface Pro computers. It can also be used as a high-capacity USB-C PD power bank for compatible laptops, tablets, smartphones, cameras, and many other USB-C devices.

Measuring approximately 6 × 3 × 1 inches and weighing about 1 lb, the BAT-UC70B-MS provides substantial portable power without the size and weight of a large power station.

Its compact design makes it convenient for travel, business trips, mobile work, and situations where AC power is not readily available.

Specifications

Charging the Battery

An AC charger is included with the BAT-UC70B-MS standard package. The battery can be fully recharged in less than approximately 2 hours with the included charger.

You may charge the battery through either USB-C1 or USB-C2. If using a USB-C charger rated above 45W, use USB-C1. USB-C1 can accept up to 100W charging input.

With a compatible 100W USB-C PD charger, the battery can be fully recharged in approximately 1 hour.

Important: Use only one USB-C input port at a time to charge the battery. Do not connect chargers to USB-C1 and USB-C2 simultaneously.

Charge the Battery While Using It

The BAT-UC70B-MS supports pass-through operation. You may charge the battery through one USB-C port while using the other USB-C port to provide power to your Surface Pro or another compatible device.

Power Multiple USB Devices

The battery's two USB-C ports and USB-A port can be used simultaneously. Maximum combined output from the three USB ports is up to 145W.

This allows the BAT-UC70B-MS to serve as a portable power source for multiple compatible devices when you are away from AC power.

Wireless Charging

The BAT-UC70B-MS also includes a built-in wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones and other wireless-charging devices.

1. Press the power button to activate wireless charging.
2. Place a compatible wireless-charging device over the wireless charging area on top of the battery.
3. Charging should begin within approximately 1–2 seconds after the device is detected.
4. If no compatible device is detected, wireless charging will automatically turn off after approximately 25 seconds.
5. Wireless charging can also be turned off manually by double-pressing the power button.

An optional 45W USB-C PD car charger allows you to recharge the battery from a 12V car or 24V truck cigarette-lighter/accessory socket.

The optional car charger can fully recharge the battery in less than approximately 2 hours under suitable operating conditions. The car charger is optional and is not included with the standard package.
