DD90X

This DC to DC power adapter can convert 12V DC power from a car cigarette lighter socket or 24V DC power from a truck/boat cigarette lighter socket to 12/15/16/18.5/19.5/24v voltage DC output power for laptop/notebook computers, tablet computers or other devices.

It can also provide 5V USB port power for smart phones such as iPhones (USB power cable not included)

This DC power adapter's input side has Anderson Powerpole connectors as DC input. This DC power adapter can accept 10V ~ 30V DC power, it can be used with many of our BiXPower 12V, 16V, 19V and 24V batteries.

This adapter has an output voltage selection switch on side. Please refer to the electronic device you are powering to determine correct voltage. It should be marked on the DC input jack. You may also refer to the manual to determine the proper voltage setting. If there is a discrepancy between the battery chart and the setting marked on your electronic devices, ALWAYS select the voltage close to it. For example, if your laptop DC input requirement is 19.5V, you can set at 19V first, then if it does not work, set at 20V.

Caution: Please set the output voltage before connecting power adapter to input & output. If you need to change the output voltage, please disconnect the power adapter from both input & output first. Do not change the output voltage when the power adapter is connected to input power source or output device. If the power adapter stops working, disconnect it from both input and output and check if there is anything wrong with the connection.

Connector Tips:

The DD90X power adapter standard package does not come with any extra connector tips. The connector on the output cable is a 5.5 x 2.5mm barrel connector with 5.5mm outside diameter and 2.5mm inside diameter:

If this connector does not fit your device, you can order our BiXPower C series connector tips to change it to many different size connectors.

You can also order the 12 connector tips Kit

The optional 12 connector tips kit consists of 12popular C series right angle connector tips.

Input Polarity:

When connect to a battery or other DC power source that with voltage range within 9V to 30V, it is CRITICAL that you determine your power source’s polarity before connecting. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SEVERE DAMAGE TO this power converter! please make sure Positive (Red) connect to Positive, Ground (or Negative) connect to Ground, which normally means:

Red connect to Red ; Black connect to Black

The Red and Black Anderson Power Pole connectors can be detached and re-arranged in many different ways. You may rearrange them to match with the power source.
