The BX2494B is made with premium-brand lithium-ion battery cells, selected for dependable performance, high energy density, and long-term reliability. Quality cells are especially important in a high-capacity battery pack because they help provide more consistent performance throughout the battery's charge and discharge cycle.

Lithium-ion technology provides excellent energy density, allowing this battery to store 300 Watt-hours of energy while keeping the battery relatively compact and lightweight.

300Wh High Capacity in a Lightweight Battery

The BX2494B provides 300Wh (12.5Ah at 24V) of battery capacity. Despite this substantial energy storage, the battery itself weighs only approximately 4.2 lb (1.8 kg). With the mounting holder installed, the complete assembly weighs approximately 5 lb (2.2 kg).

This combination of high capacity and relatively low weight makes the BX2494B well suited for portable equipment, mobile applications, backup power systems, and other 24V applications where both runtime and weight matter.

Convenient Removable & Mountable Battery Holder

One of the most useful features of the BX2494B is its removable mounting system. The battery slides into its holder for use and can be quickly removed when you need to recharge, transport, replace, or store the battery.

The holder can be securely mounted to a desk, equipment frame, cabinet, cart, vehicle platform, or other suitable surface. Once the holder is installed, the battery can be conveniently inserted and removed without having to permanently mount the battery itself.

Easy-to-Use Battery Controls

The battery includes a convenient power ON/OFF switch, an LED battery-level indicator, and a dedicated charging input port. These features make it easy to operate the battery and quickly check the remaining battery level

High-Power 24V Output

The BX2494B has a 24V nominal output and supports up to 10A continuous discharge current. It can also provide up to 15A burst discharge current for up to 10 minutes, making it suitable for many applications that require considerably more power than conventional small portable battery packs.

Please note: This is a lithium-ion battery with a variable output voltage. The battery voltage changes according to its state of charge. The specified output voltage range is approximately 20V to 29.7V.

Understanding the Battery Output Voltage

When fully charged, the battery voltage is approximately 29.5V. As energy is consumed, the voltage gradually decreases. During much of the discharge cycle, the battery operates around the 24V to 26V range, and the internal protection system eventually disconnects the output as the battery approaches its low-voltage limit.

One-Year Limited Warranty

The BX2494B is covered by a one-year limited warranty against manufacturing and quality defects. As with all rechargeable batteries, available capacity gradually decreases with normal use and aging. Normal capacity loss from battery wear is not considered a manufacturing defect.
