The
BiXPower iP150-24V is a compact, high-capacity
151Wh rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack designed to provide
portable
24V DC power for compatible electronic equipment.
Despite its large energy capacity, the battery weighs only approximately
1.8 lb (0.8 kg) and measures approximately
7.5 x 3 x 1.8 inches.
In addition to its main 24V DC output, the battery includes a
5V USB output port for powering or charging compatible USB devices.
Its Mini UPS / pass-through power design also allows the battery to
power a connected device while the battery itself is being charged.

High Capacity in a Compact, Portable Design
With
151 watt-hours of stored energy, the iP150-24V provides
substantial portable power without the size and weight of many larger battery systems.
Its slim enclosure makes it convenient for mobile applications, field equipment,
portable electronics, backup power applications, and other compatible 24V devices.
Mini UPS Function — Use the Battery While Charging
One of the most useful features of the iP150-24V is its
pass-through power / Mini UPS capability. You can connect the AC
charger to the battery while the battery continues supplying power to your
connected device.
How the Mini UPS function works:
The supplied AC charger provides approximately
30W of input power.
When the connected device requires less power than the charger can provide,
charger power can support the load while also charging the battery. When the
connected device requires more power than the charger is supplying, the battery
cells can provide the additional power. If AC input power is disconnected, the
battery supplies the connected load from its stored energy.
This feature is particularly useful for applications where you want portable
battery power while also having the ability to keep the battery connected to
an AC power source when available.
Important: Available charging power and battery charging rate depend
on the power required by the connected device. If the load consumes more power than
the charger supplies, battery capacity will gradually decrease even while the charger
is connected.
Easy-to-Use Controls and Connections
The front panel provides convenient access to the power switch, battery-level
indicators, charge input, main DC output and USB output. Press the
Check button to view the approximate remaining battery level.
24V DC Main Power Output
The battery's main output supplies
24V DC power through the
included output cable. Simply connect the designated end of the cable to the
battery's main output port and connect the other end to your compatible device.
Standard Output Connector
The included output cable uses a standard barrel-style DC connector. Always
verify your device's
required voltage, connector dimensions, polarity
and power consumption
before connecting it to the battery.
Built-In 5V USB Power Output
A built-in
5V USB port provides a convenient secondary power
source for compatible USB devices. The USB output supports up to approximately
2.1A. A USB charging cable is not included.

Optional Connector Tips for More Devices
Different electronic devices may use different DC barrel connector sizes.
An optional
8-piece connector-tip kit is available to adapt
the standard output cable for a wider variety of compatible devices.
The appropriate connector tip plugs onto the end of the standard output cable
to create a different connector size.
Output Polarity
The standard battery output cable is configured with
center-positive polarity, which is commonly used by DC-powered
electronic equipment.
Before connecting your device:
Verify that your equipment accepts 24V DC input and confirm its required
connector size, polarity and power consumption. Voltage compatibility alone
does not guarantee that a device is compatible.

Is the iP150-24V Compatible With My Device?
Before purchasing, check the power label or original AC adapter for your device.
For proper operation, confirm all of the following:
- Your device is designed to operate from 24V DC power.
- Its required power is within the battery's output capability.
- The DC connector size matches the supplied cable or an appropriate adapter tip is available.
- The device uses the correct polarity, normally center positive with the standard cable.
One-Year Limited Warranty
The battery is covered by a
one-year limited warranty against
manufacturing and quality defects. Rechargeable batteries naturally lose some
usable capacity as they age and accumulate charge/discharge cycles. Normal
capacity reduction caused by usage and aging is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Lithium-Ion Battery Safety & Care
- Do not disassemble, open or modify the battery pack.
- Do not puncture, crush, drop, strike or otherwise damage the battery.
- Keep water and foreign objects away from the battery and its ports.
- Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C (140°F) or to fire.
- Keep the battery away from children.
- Use only the supplied charger or a BiXPower-authorized compatible charger.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry location away from flammable materials.
- Do not store the battery for an extended period in a fully discharged condition.
- For extended storage, recharge the battery periodically.
- Dispose of used lithium-ion batteries according to applicable local regulations.
