Convert 24V or 36V Battery Power to Stable 19V DC
The BiXPower DC36T19V-6A is a compact, high-efficiency DC-to-DC power
converter designed to convert a wide range of
21V to 45V DC input power into regulated 19V DC output.
It can provide up to 6A maximum output current.
Its wide input voltage range makes it an excellent choice for many
24V and 36V battery systems, including lithium-ion
battery packs whose voltage changes as the battery charges and discharges.
Despite its high output capability, the converter is remarkably small
and lightweight, making it especially useful for portable equipment,
battery-powered electronics, mobile installations, and other applications
where space and efficiency are important.

Small Size — Big Power
One of the major advantages of this converter is its remarkably compact
size. The converter body measures only approximately
78 × 36 × 24mm (3.2 × 1.4 × 1 in.) and weighs only
about 180g (6.5 oz.).
Its small footprint makes it easy to install in tight spaces or carry
with portable battery systems without adding unnecessary size and weight.

High Efficiency — Greater Than 90%
Efficiency is especially important when a converter is powered by a battery.
The DC36T19V-6A provides greater than 90% conversion efficiency,
helping reduce unnecessary energy loss during voltage conversion.
Higher efficiency means more of the energy stored in your battery is
available to power your device instead of being wasted during conversion.
This makes the converter well suited for portable and battery-powered
applications.
Wide 21V–45V DC Input Range
Unlike converters that require a narrow or fixed input voltage, the
DC36T19V-6A accepts a broad 21V to 45V DC input range.
This makes it suitable for many 24V and 36V battery systems.
It is particularly useful with lithium-ion batteries because their voltage
normally changes between fully charged and discharged conditions.
As long as the battery or other DC power source remains within the
specified 21V–45V range, the converter regulates the output to
19V DC.

Flexible Input Design
The input side of the converter uses
16AWG red and black silicone wires with a
5.5 × 2.5mm female barrel connector.
This design gives you more flexibility than a converter with a permanently
fixed input plug. You can use the barrel connector for a convenient
plug-and-play connection, or remove the connector and use the wires
for a direct connection.
Direct
Bare-Wire Input Connection
If a direct connection is preferred, the input barrel connector can be
cut off. This exposes the two 16AWG input wires:
- Red Wire = Positive (+)
- Black Wire = Negative (–) / Ground
IMPORTANT — Observe Correct Polarity
Positive (+) on converter → Positive (+) on power source
Negative (–) on converter → Negative (–) on power source
It is critical that the converter be connected with the correct polarity.
Reversing input polarity may damage the converter and/or connected equipment.
Optional Input Cable — Even More Ways to Connect
For applications requiring additional connection flexibility, an
optional 16AWG input cable can be used with this converter.
With this optional cable, there are
three convenient ways to connect the converter to a battery or
other DC power source.
1. Direct DC Plug Connection
The converter has a 5.5 × 2.5mm female input connector.
If your battery or DC power source already has a compatible
5.5 × 2.5mm male DC plug, it can plug directly into
the converter.
This is the simplest connection method and does not require an additional
cable.
2. Male-to-Male DC Cable Connection
If your battery or DC power source has a
5.5 × 2.5mm female output port, use the optional
5.5 × 2.5mm male-to-male DC cable between the power source and converter.
This provides a clean plug-in connection while keeping the converter
and power-source wiring unchanged.
3. Direct Wire Connection
For a hardwired or custom installation, the connector on one end of
the optional input cable can be cut off. The two wires can then be
connected directly to the battery, terminal block, distribution panel,
or other compatible DC power source.
- Red = Positive (+)
- Black = Negative (–) / Ground
One Converter — Multiple Input Connection Options
The flexible input design makes this converter easier to integrate with
many different battery and DC power systems. Depending on your power source,
you can use:
- A direct 5.5 × 2.5mm male DC plug
- An optional 5.5 × 2.5mm male-to-male input cable
- A direct red/black bare-wire connection
This flexibility is particularly useful for custom battery systems,
portable equipment, vehicle installations, industrial equipment,
and other DC-powered applications.
Regulated 19V Output — Up to 6A
The converter provides a regulated 19V DC output with
a maximum available output current of 6A.
The output cable uses 18AWG wires and terminates in a
5.5 × 2.5mm male barrel connector, center positive.
Note: 6A is the converter's maximum available output
current, not a constant current forced into the device. The connected
device draws only the current it requires. For example, a device requiring
2A will draw approximately 2A.
Optional Connector Tips for More 19V Devices
The standard converter output is a
5.5 × 2.5mm male barrel connector, which works directly
with many devices.
If your 19V device uses a different connector size, optional
BiXPower C-Series connector tips can be used to adapt
the standard output connector to many other DC connector types.
A C-Series tip simply plugs onto the existing 5.5 × 2.5mm output connector
to form a different connector size.

Why Choose the DC36T19V-6A?
The DC36T19V-6A combines high output capability with a very
small converter body. Its wide 21V–45V input range allows it
to operate from many 24V and 36V battery systems, while greater than
90% efficiency helps conserve valuable battery energy.
Just as importantly, the converter gives you
multiple ways to connect to your power source.
Use a direct 5.5 × 2.5mm DC plug, add the optional male-to-male input
cable, or make a direct red/black wire connection for custom installations.
On the output side, the standard 5.5 × 2.5mm connector can also be
adapted to many other connector sizes using optional BiXPower C-Series tips.
The result is a compact, efficient and highly flexible 19V
power solution for portable electronics, battery-powered
equipment, mobile systems and custom DC applications.
Please verify compatibility before use:
• Power source must remain within the converter's
21V–45V DC input range.
• Connected equipment must be compatible with
19V DC output.
• Verify the required connector size and polarity before connection.
• Always observe correct input polarity:
Red = Positive (+), Black = Negative (–).
• Do not exceed the converter's maximum rated output.
