The converter automatically converts compatible DC input voltage within

Flexible Input Power Connections
The BX-DD90M2-24V provides several convenient ways to connect your DC power
source. The package includes a 16AWG input cable, giving

1. Connect Directly to the Converter Input Port
The converter has a 5.5 x 2.5 mm female DC input jack.
A compatible DC power source with a 5.5 x 2.5 mm male connector can plug
directly into the converter.
2. Use the Included Input Cable
The included input cable can connect the converter to a DC power source
equipped with a compatible 5.5 x 2.5 mm DC connector.
3. Use Bare Wires for a Direct Connection
For applications requiring a direct wired connection, one connector can
be removed from the included input cable so the two wires can be connected
directly to an appropriate DC power source.
he two bare 16AWG wires can handle higher input current more
effectively than the barrel connector input connection, making
the direct-wire method preferable for higher-current applications when
properly installed.
High-Efficiency DC Power Conversion

24V Output Cable
The included 24V output cable connects to the converter's dedicated DC

Connecting the Output Cable
The converter end of the output cable has a small
flat surface and three connection holes. When inserting
the cable into the converter's output port, position the
flat surface facing upward toward the top of the converter.

not exceed the converter's rated output, and that the connector size and
polarity are correct.
Optional Output Cables
The BX-DD90M2 converter platform uses a special output cable to determine
the main DC output voltage. In addition to the included
24V output cable, compatible output cables for
12V, 16V and 19V are available separately.
Important: Always verify the required voltage of your
equipment before changing output cables.
Optional DC Connector Tips
The output cable uses a 5.5 x 2.5 mm male DC connector.
For equipment requiring a different connector size, compatible BiXPower
C-series connector tips can be attached to the output cable.
Input Cable
