320Wh Rechargeable Battery Pack with Regulated 24V DC Output
The BiXPower EP300-24V combines a high-capacity
rechargeable battery with an efficient DC-to-DC power converter to
provide a stable regulated 24V DC output.
Unlike a standard 24V rechargeable battery whose voltage changes as
the battery discharges, the EP300-24V uses the included DC converter
to provide regulated 24V power for compatible 24V DC devices.

Portable Design
Stable 24V Power from a High-Capacity Battery
Rechargeable batteries do not normally maintain exactly the same
voltage from full charge to empty. The battery used in this system
operates over approximately 20V to 29.5V during its
discharge cycle.
The included high-efficiency DC converter regulates this changing
battery voltage to provide a 24V DC output, up to 5A.
This makes the EP300-24V useful for compatible equipment that requires
a more stable 24V supply rather than the variable voltage directly
from a battery.
Important: Before connecting your equipment, verify
that it is designed for 24V DC input, requires no more
than 5A, and uses a compatible connector and polarity.
Compact 320Wh Rechargeable Battery
With approximately 320 watt-hours of stored energy,
the battery provides substantial portable DC power while remaining
compact enough for mobile, field, backup, and equipment applications.
The battery measures approximately
268 x 150 x 56 mm (10.6 x 6 x 2.2 inches)
and weighs approximately 2.2 kg (5 lb).
Easy-to-Use Controls and Power-Level Indicator

The battery includes an integrated power-level indicator, power-check
button, on/off switch, charging port, and DC output cable for convenient
everyday operation.
Mounting Capability
Four mounting points on the bottom of the battery make it easier to
secure the battery to a suitable surface for equipment installations
where a more permanent mounting arrangement is preferred.

What does “maximum 5A” mean?
The converter does not continuously force 5A into your equipment.
Your device draws the current it requires. For example, a compatible
24V device requiring 2A will normally draw approximately 2A. The
connected device should not require more than the converter's
maximum rated output.
How the EP300-24V System Works
1.
Charge the battery. Connect the included AC charger
to the battery charging port and a compatible AC wall outlet.

2. Connect the 24V converter. Connect the converter
input to the battery's DC output.

3. Connect your 24V device. Confirm voltage, connector
size, polarity, and power requirements before connection.
4. Turn on the battery. The converter supplies regulated
24V DC power to the compatible connected device.
Recharge from a Standard AC Outlet
The EP300-24V package includes its own AC battery charger. The charger
can be used with 100V to 240V AC input, making it
convenient for charging from standard compatible AC power sources.
Understanding the Battery's Native Voltage
The rechargeable battery itself does not produce exactly 24V throughout
the entire discharge cycle. Its voltage is highest immediately after
charging and gradually decreases as stored energy is used.
This is why the EP300-24V package includes a DC converter: it regulates
the battery's variable output to provide a more stable
24V DC supply for compatible equipment.
Package Contents
- 1 x 320Wh rechargeable battery pack
- 1 x AC battery charger
- 1 x regulated 24V DC power converter
Connector Options
The standard converter output uses a
5.5 x 2.5 mm male barrel connector. This connector is
commonly used by many DC-powered devices, but connector size and
polarity should always be verified before use.
For equipment requiring a different DC connector, compatible BiXPower
C-series connector tips may be used where appropriate.
Typical Applications
The EP300-24V is designed as a portable rechargeable DC power source
for compatible equipment requiring regulated 24V DC power. Potential
applications include field equipment, portable electronics,
communications equipment, monitoring systems, test equipment,
instrumentation, and other compatible 24V DC devices.
Device compatibility: A device being labeled “24V”
does not by itself guarantee compatibility. Always check the device's
required voltage, maximum power/current, connector dimensions, and
polarity before connecting it to the EP300-24V.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the battery itself always output exactly 24V?
No. The battery's native voltage changes during its discharge cycle.
The included DC-to-DC converter regulates that changing voltage to
provide 24V DC output.
What is the maximum regulated 24V output?
The included converter is rated for a maximum output of
24V DC at 5A.
Can I use this battery with any 24V device?
Not necessarily. Confirm that your device accepts regulated 24V DC,
requires no more than the converter's rated output, and has compatible
connector dimensions and polarity.
Does a device always draw 5A from the battery?
No. Five amps is the converter's maximum rated output current. A
compatible device normally draws only the amount of current it needs.
Can the battery be mounted?
Yes. The bottom of the battery includes four mounting points that can
be useful for suitable equipment installations.
Can I use another connector size?
The standard converter output is a 5.5 x 2.5 mm male barrel connector.
Compatible BiXPower C-series connector tips can provide additional
connector configurations for suitable devices.
Important Safety & Compatibility Notice:
Always verify your equipment's input voltage, current/power
requirements, connector size, and polarity before connection.
Incorrect voltage, polarity, wiring, or an incompatible connection
may damage the battery, converter, or connected equipment.
