12V to 24V 120W Car Charger DC Power Converter

This power adapter can convert 12V or 24V variable DC Power (Range 9V ~ 32V) power from a boat/car/truck cigarette lighter socket to 24V stable regulated DC power.

This DC power adapter actually comes with two items: a 24V DC converter and a car cigarette plug

DC power converter features:

It can directly connect to a 12V or 24V lithium ion battery or any battery with output voltage range within 9V to 32V range. Its maximum output is 5 Amps

This DC to DC power adapter's input side has 5.5 x 2.5mm Female barrel connector with two 16AWG bare wires. The output is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector with 18AWG wires. It is very easy and flexible to connect with batteries and other power source.

Input: Input is 5.5 x 2.5mm female connector. If you cut off the connector, it will be two bare wires: red color is for Positive input and the black color is for Negative/Ground input. It is CRITICAL that the power adapter is connected correctly in polarity to the power source: Positive on adapter connects to Positive on power source. Negative on adapter connects to Negative on power source. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SEVERE DAMAGES.

*5A is its maximum output current, not actual output current. Actual output current depends on the device's requirements. For example, if your device requires 2 Amps, it will output 2 Amps.

Car Cigarette Plug:

This adapter's input end is a male cigarette light plug which can plug into a 12V car cigarette light socket. Its output end is a 5.5 x 2.5mm barrel connector, which directly outputs the socket's power.

The 5.5 x 2.5mm barrel connector output voltage will be same as car cigarette socket voltage.

Alternative Input Connection:

You may also cut off the barrel connector on input cable, use two bare wires to connect to a battery or other power source. The input wires are 16AWG silicone wires. Red is positive, black is negative.

Output: The output connector is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector, center positive.

Optional connector tips:

The connector on the power adapter output cable is a 5.5 x 2.5mm male barrel connector, which will work with many devices. If you need different size connectors, you may order our C series optional connector tips separately. A C series connector can plug on the battery output cable to form a new connector.
